Course Overview

The degree provides a higher education engineering experience for the student covering a wide range of mechanical engineering topics.

The course has been designed to provide a combination of extensive practical work supported by academic studies.

Entry Requirement

A HND or Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Progression

This course has been designed to provide a sector jumping opportunity. It provides an in depth study of various power systems preparing students to enter or develop into engineering level with the power industry.

The programme also enables the student to select a specific pathway relevant to their employment aspirations and/or local employment demand.

Possible professional registration with the Engineering Council.
