Creating the workforce of tomorrow to support delivery of nuclear missions

The flagship National College for Nuclear (NCfN) forms a cornerstone of the Government’s response to nuclear skills provision. Browse our courses and see what is right for you.

We are a partnership between industry employers, regulators, skills bodies and training providers. We provide the bridge between skills strategy and policy and the provision of the required skills capability and capacity. We do this by aligning industry demands (including low carbon, transitioning industries and non-civil) with the roll-out of assured curriculum where it is needed to meet nuclear missions. It is through this approach that we can make a difference in increasing regional opportunities including apprenticeships, in improving transferability and in delivering and maintaining the expert workforce for which the UK has a strong reputation.
