NCfN and its industry partners have devised an award-winning experiential, immersive learning delivery environment that revolutionised the way that nuclear related skills are taught, using physical, augmented and virtual reality to replicate nuclear facilities.
An immersive, project-based curriculum sees inter disciplinary groups – mechanical, electrical, nuclear physics, scientists and project managers, at levels 3-6 – working together on a range of ‘live’, ‘hands-on’ scenarios that embed specialist skills and industry behaviour based on the Nuclear Institute “Nuclear Delta®”.
